Yes!!! Its my 50th post...finally...
anyways i've watched a VCD named "Sorry, Teacher".

This movie is about a teacher, Ms Tan, who is diagnosed with terminal cancer but yet postpones her treatment just for her students, who were lazy and rebellious. Eventually, her she dies from a road accident, in place of her students.
I was very touched by this movie... I can see how she really dedicates her life to educating her students, who are from the worst class. I was really touched and teared.
This movie was superb, i'd say, as students often do not think of how their teachers sacrifice and this movie is just like its being dedicated to the teachers who have dedicated their time and effort, or their life, in this case, "to mould the future of Singapore", as the mission of the MOE.
Here's a quote from the movie:
“教师是一个冒险、甚至是危险的职业,伟人与罪人,都可能在他手中形成;因此, 教师必须如薄冰,尽最大的努力,让自己和自己的学生,走向崇高。”
In English, it roughly means:
"Being a teacher may be dangerous, both the noble and the sinful are formed here. Thus, a teacher must be hardworking, so that he/she and his/her students will be successful."
Interesting movie... a must watch!
